The Traditional Associate Caste Nursing plan is a two-year curriculum which leads to an Acquaintance of Practical Science degree. The curriculum includes classroom learning activities, campus skills labs, faculty-directed low tech clinical simulation experiences, and clinical agency learning experiences. Graduates who see eligibility requirements equally mandated past the Texas Board of Nursing and who successfully complete the NCLEX-RN licensure examination are eligible to begin practice as registered nurses.
The Acquaintance Degree Bridge Plan is a two-twelvemonth mobility curriculum with summer bridge or transition courses that allow LVNs (Licensed Vocational Nurses) to "span" the gap between Vocational Nursing Educational activity and the second year of the Associate Degree Nursing Program. All pre-requisite courses must be completed within 7 years of making awarding. Applications sent without the required pre-requisite will not be accepted. Any of the other Non-RNSG degree programme courses on the degree plan can be taken prior to entering the program or after admission.
ADN Caste Plans will exist initiated upon access to the ADN Program and will exist changed if the student drops from the program. New students will exist registered for the appropriate RNSG classes by ADN faculty. Initial national accreditation was granted in 1996. The program has maintained national accreditation since that date. The last ACEN site visit was a scheduled 8th year visit in the leap of 2017. Currently, the program is in compliance with all Accreditation Standards and Criteria and has been granted continued accreditation. The next accreditation review is scheduled to accept identify in Spring 2025.

Texas Lath of Nursing initial approval was when the first course graduated in 1984. BON approving has been maintained since that date. The last BON approval letter covered the menses from May 2020 to May 2022. This certificate is posted in the Program Director's office.
